Sustainability.
Our collective commitment towards supporting a healthy environment.
Our statement.
We recognise our responsibility for the consequences our business operations can have on both the local and global environment and we are dedicated to reducing them.
We want our clients and partners to feel secure knowing they are working with a supplier who’s making choices with sustainability and crucial environmental issues in mind.
You can feel confident in us and our desire to have a positive and lasting impact on our planet.
What we’re doing do reduce our impact.
We feel it is our duty to implement as many strategies as possible that ensure our company operates in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Food waste collection.
A food waste bin gathers all decomposable excess, reducing landfill input and allowing both the energy and nutrients to be utilised in an ethical way.
Recycling.
A mixed recycling bin allows us to recycle all milk bottles and packaging.
Composting.
Any organic, compostable waste, such as veg peelings and coffee bean residue, is used on local farms and allotments – keeping valuable nutrients in the resource cycle.
Sourcing local.
Strive to procure resources from local and smaller suppliers, supporting the local independent economy and reducing transport emissions.
Offsetting.
Routine payments into projects which combat global climate change as well as caring for local communities - providing employment, healthcare, biodiversity, reforestation, and social benefits to impoverished communities.
Sustainable Events.
Commitment to only using sustainable packaging and serving materials. Reusable, biodegradable, compostable and recycled drinking cups, lids and cutlery.
Acting now, with the future in mind.
We constantly review our sustainability strategy to consider innovative technologies and systems we may be able to integrate into our business to ensure we are not compromising the planet of future generations.
Our next aim is to explore renewable energy solutions for our units to generate a direct supply of ‘clean’ energy at events in the future.
